I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect wall-mounted dimmer to replace my Hue bulbs, and I want something that’s both functional and stylish. Ideally, it would integrate seamlessly with my existing ZigBee setup using the ConBee II stick, as my WiFi network is getting pretty crowded. I’d love a dimmer that allows manual control—pressing to toggle lights and rotating to adjust brightness—while still being compatible with Home Assistant for remote adjustments.
I stumbled upon the Fibaro Dimmer 2 in some older posts, but it doesn’t offer manual dimming, which is a deal-breaker for me. I’ve also looked into solutions that communicate via BLE or ZigBee, but those don’t physically control the power to the bulb, which isn’t what I need.
I’ve considered DIY solutions using ESP8266, but I’m worried about legality and aesthetics—my household has pretty high standards for design! Has anyone found a reliable, ZigBee-compatible dimmer that meets these criteria? Bonus points if it’s available in Denmark! ![]()
