I used to rely heavily on the JSmartWatch app for controlling my smart home devices when I was out and about without my iPhone. It was fantastic for running scenes and checking device statuses on the go. However, with the recent API changes, the app is no longer functional, and I’m really missing its convenience.
I loved how JSmartWatch allowed me to use buttons to trigger scenes instead of relying solely on voice commands. It was especially handy when I was running or in a noisy environment where voice commands weren’t practical. For instance, I could quickly toggle my lights or adjust the thermostat with just a press of a button.
While I know I can use Alexa for voice commands, I’m still holding out hope for a similar button-based solution. Has anyone found a good alternative or workaround for this? I’d be grateful for any suggestions or recommendations.
