Hello everyone, I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to seek some help with an issue I encountered after updating my OpenHAB system. As many of you know, I’ve been running OpenHAB on a Raspberry Pi 3 for quite some time now, and it’s been a reliable setup for managing my smart home devices.
However, after the recent update to OpenHAB Core 2023.11.3, I noticed some concerning behavior. Specifically, all my Fritzdect lights have become inactive—greyed out and unresponsive. This is quite puzzling because I can still control them through the FritzBox app and web interface, which means the devices themselves are functioning correctly.
I tried the usual troubleshooting steps: reloading the integration, deleting and re-adding the light entities, and even performing a factory reset on the FritzBox. Unfortunately, none of these actions have resolved the issue. The lights remain greyed out, and my automations tied to them are no longer working.
I did a bit of research and found that others have reported similar issues after the update. It seems like a potential bug in the latest version of OpenHAB. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and, more importantly, if there’s a workaround or fix that I might have missed.
If anyone has any insights or suggestions, I’d greatly appreciate your input. Let’s hope we can get this sorted out soon! Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Mario
