Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to the community for some guidance on integrating my Eltako Enocean rollershutter actors. I’ve been trying to set these up with Home Assistant, but I’m hitting a bit of a snag with the device IDs.
From what I understand, the Home Assistant documentation mentions Enocean devices with 4-byte IDs, but my device shows an 8-byte ID: (0)50A1BF2. I’ve checked the FHEM documentation, and they also refer to 8-digit IDs, which matches what I’m seeing.
I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps, including resetting the device and ensuring it’s properly paired, but I’m still not getting the expected results. I’m curious if anyone else has encountered this issue or has successfully integrated Eltako Enocean devices with Home Assistant.
Would love to hear if there’s a workaround or a specific configuration that makes this integration smoother. Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!
