Hi everyone, I’m in the process of setting up a whole house fan system and I’m looking for some advice on the best way to control it. I came across this exhaust fan (Canarm 12-inch Direct Drive Variable Speed Standard Exhaust Fan) and I’m really interested in integrating it into my smart home setup using Home Assistant.
I need a controller that can handle a 4-amp, 115v load and ideally work with either Zigbee or Z-Wave for seamless integration. I’ve done some research, but I’m not sure which option would be the best fit. I’m considering both inline switches and wall switches, but I want something reliable and easy to control through my existing smart home ecosystem.
Has anyone had experience with similar setups? I’d love to hear about any controllers you’ve used and how they performed. Any recommendations or tips would be greatly appreciated! Let’s brainstorm together to find the perfect solution.
