Hello everyone! I’m in the process of setting up a home automation system and have been searching for Zigbee window sensors that function similarly to the HMIP devices I’ve used before. These sensors should ideally work without requiring additional hubs or complex configurations.
I’ve come across a few options so far, but most either rely on DECT technology, which isn’t what I’m looking for, or are quite expensive. I’m particularly interested in finding sensors that are compatible with my existing Zigbee setup and offer reliable performance.
I’ve also noticed that some users have had issues with certain brands, especially regarding connectivity and integration with platforms like Homey or OpenHAB. This has made me cautious about jumping into purchases without more research.
On a positive note, I’ve had great experiences with Govee products in the past, particularly their smart lights and thermometers. Their devices are not only affordable but also integrate seamlessly with my ecosystem. I’m curious to know if others have found reliable Zigbee sensors that meet these criteria.
If anyone has recommendations or tips on where to find such sensors, or even alternative solutions that work well within a Zigbee network, I’d greatly appreciate the input! Let’s collaborate to find the best options for enhancing our smart homes.
