Hello fellow Home Assistant enthusiasts! I’ve been using Home Assistant for quite some time now, and I’ve always found it to be an incredible tool for managing my smart home. However, I’ve recently encountered an issue that’s been on my mind, and I’m hoping someone out there might have some insights or solutions to share.
As a user in France, I’ve been relying on the Linky electricity meter integration provided by EDF or ENEDIS. In the past, there were integrations available that allowed me to track my hourly electricity consumption directly within Home Assistant. It was incredibly useful for monitoring my energy usage and even setting up some automations based on my consumption patterns. However, it seems that access to their API has been restricted, and now I’m unable to integrate my Linky meter data into Home Assistant anymore.
I upgraded to the 2021.8 release of Home Assistant, and while everything else seems to be running smoothly, the absence of my electricity consumption data has left a bit of a void. I’d love to find a workaround or an alternative method to track my energy usage. Whether it’s through a different integration, a custom script, or even a third-party service, I’m open to any suggestions that might help me regain this functionality.
I stumbled upon a French article that mentioned some potential solutions, but I’m not entirely sure how to implement them, especially since my technical background is more on the user side rather than the developer side. If anyone has successfully integrated their Linky meter data into Home Assistant post-2021.8 or knows of any reliable methods to do so, I’d be extremely grateful for your input.
This has been a bit of a puzzle for me, and I’m really hoping the community can shed some light on the matter. Let’s keep the conversation positive and collaborative, as I’m sure there are others out there facing the same challenge. Together, we might just find the perfect solution!
Thank you in advance for your time and expertise. Let’s make Home Assistant even smarter for everyone!
