Hey everyone, I’ve been having some trouble with my V1 cameras and I’m hoping you might have some insights or solutions. Over the past few months, I’ve noticed that the recordings on both of my V1 cameras become unavailable just a few hours after they’re made. This is really frustrating because I rely on these cameras for monitoring, and having the footage unavailable when I need it most is a big issue.
I’ve tried reformatting the SD cards and swapping them out, but neither of these fixes has provided a long-term solution. It’s especially puzzling because I have two different cameras experiencing the exact same problem at the same time. I’m starting to think that it might not be the cards themselves but perhaps a software-related issue.
It’s interesting to note that my V2 camera, which uses the same model of SD card, doesn’t have this problem at all. That makes me hopeful that there might be a software update or fix on the horizon for the V1 cameras. I’d really prefer not to have to upgrade to a newer model just to resolve this issue, so I’m holding out hope for a software-based solution.
Has anyone else encountered this problem with their V1 cameras? Are there any troubleshooting steps I haven’t considered? I’d also love to hear if anyone has any information about upcoming software updates that might address this issue. Your insights and experiences would be greatly appreciated!
