Hi everyone, I’ve recently installed a Zemismart blind motor, specifically the ZM25RX-08 model, and it’s been a bit of a mixed experience. On one hand, the setup was straightforward, and the motor works perfectly when I interact with it directly. However, I’ve noticed an issue that’s quite puzzling and a bit frustrating. The motor seems to go to sleep after just a few seconds of inactivity. This means that if I try to automate the blinds through Home Assistant, the commands only work if the motor has been used recently. If it’s been a while since the last interaction, the motor doesn’t respond. I’ve tried using the remote controller, unplugging and replugging the USB cable, and even pressing the buttons on the motor itself, but nothing seems to keep it active for longer. I’m really hoping to automate these blinds as part of my smart home setup, so this sleep mode issue is a bit of a roadblock. Has anyone else encountered this problem or found a workaround?
