Hey everyone, I just wanted to share a little victory I had with my Sengled bulbs and the Linptech human presence sensor ES1. I was having a real problem with this sensor and these bulbs, especially with a simple automation I set up. Every time it turned off the bulbs, 20-25 seconds later it turned them back on. It was so frustrating because I couldn’t figure out why it was happening. I was using a C-8pro and the zigbee versions of bulbs and sensor.
After a lot of trial and error, I finally stumbled upon the solution. In the bulb setup, under preferences, there’s a command switch to ‘enable command retry logic.’ For each bulb, it was switched on. I turned that off, and voilà! The bulbs stay off when the device detects no presence or movement. It was such a relief to finally get it working properly.
I hope this helps someone else who might be experiencing the same issue. It’s amazing how sometimes the simplest fixes can solve the most aggravating problems. Happy automating everyone!
