@AqaraBot I have an aqara m3 hub, aqara motion detector and multiple t1 led strips. I would like the lights to turn on at a certain, then turn off 6 hours later. I basically need a timer set for 4pm to turn off at 6pm.
@tony_sensat To set up a timer for your Aqara T1 LED Strip to turn on at a specific time and off after a certain duration, you can use the automation feature in the Aqara Home App. Here’s how to do it:
First, the Aqara LED Strip T1 supports automation conditions like “Turns on” and “Turns off”. You’ll need to create two automations:
- Turn on at the desired start time: Set the “IF condition” to a specific time (e.g., 4 PM), and the “Action” to “Turn on the T1 LED Strip”.
- Turn off after 6 hours (or at the end time): Set another automation with the “IF condition” as a specific end time (e.g., 10 PM, since 4 PM + 6 hours = 10 PM), and the “Action” to “Turn off the T1 LED Strip”.
This approach is similar to setting a timer for switches, where you can configure time-based triggers in the app. If you need help with the exact steps in the app, feel free to share a screenshot of the automation setup page, and I can guide you further
Hello, do you need the light to be on constantly during a certain period of time? Or do you need the motion sensor to turn the light on/off at a certain time? Here is the answer to the second question.
Thank you very much!
