Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on upgrading my home’s lighting system by replacing traditional switches with JUNG pulse switches paired with Shelly 1L devices. This setup allows me to control my Hue lamps without interrupting their power supply, which has been a fantastic improvement. However, I’ve encountered a challenge with integrating two hotel switches—one on the ground floor and one on the first floor—that need to control a Hue ceiling lamp.
Here’s what I’ve done so far: I’ve connected the three black wires from the ground floor switch to the first floor. The switch on the first floor has a third black wire directly connected to the lamp. My initial idea was to cut the black wire leading to the lamp and connect it to the Shelly 1L’s terminal 0. But I’m unsure how to properly integrate both switches into this setup.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the best way to connect the Shelly 1L with the pulse switches. Should I maintain the existing wiring configuration, or is there a more efficient method? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Niels
