Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with connecting the Shelly 2.5 in a two-phase 110V setup to achieve 220V. I’ve been using a Sonoff R2 Basic before, which was straightforward, but I wanted to switch to Shelly to also monitor power usage. Here’s what I figured out:
I initially thought of connecting both wires to the L terminals and using the 01 and 02 outputs. However, I realized I’d need to turn both switches simultaneously to power the outlet. For power measurement, I’d have to sum the readings from both relays, which was a bit cumbersome. After some research and trial, I found that this approach works but isn’t perfect for seamless operation.
If anyone has a simpler method or tips for handling this setup, I’d love to hear them! I’m also curious if others have successfully integrated Shelly devices for similar purposes. Happy to share more details or troubleshoot if needed.
