Shelly 2.5 In Client Mode with Both Channels 'off' Goes into Reboot Loop

Hi everyone, I’m evaluating Shelly products for home use and have encountered a rather peculiar issue with the Shelly 2.5 switch. I’m running the latest firmware (1.10.4), but the problem seems to have been present with the stock firmware as well. When I connect the Shelly 2.5 in AP mode, everything works perfectly—immediate web UI response, instantaneous operation, and smooth configuration. However, when I configure it to join my WiFi LAN, things take a turn for the worse. The switch joins the network, but its response time becomes abysmal. It can take up to two minutes to load the initial web UI screen, and pings show massive packet loss with responses taking 2000-3000ms. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the switch enters a reboot loop, rebooting every few seconds. Factory resetting and reconfiguring the device doesn’t resolve the issue. Interestingly, the problem seems to resolve when I power one of the channels on. Once at least one channel is ‘on,’ the switch stops rebooting and becomes responsive. However, if both channels are ‘off,’ the reboot loop resumes. I’m hoping someone might have encountered this issue before or has any suggestions to resolve it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
