Shelly ColorBulb Firmware Update Experience

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with updating the firmware on my Shelly ColorBulb. I’ve been using these bulbs for a while now, and they’ve been a great addition to my smart home setup. However, I recently encountered an issue where the bulbs wouldn’t turn off after setting a timer manually. It was a bit frustrating, especially since everything worked fine through the app.

After some research, I found that rolling back to an older firmware version, specifically 1.10.4, resolved the problem. I was a bit hesitant about downgrading, but it turned out to be a smooth process. The bulbs now work perfectly with the timer, and I don’t have to worry about them staying on unintentionally.

This experience taught me the importance of checking firmware versions when troubleshooting. It’s also a reminder of how supportive the community can be when you run into issues. If anyone else is having similar problems, I’d recommend checking if an older firmware version might be the solution.
