Shelly Dimmer 2 Temperature Issues and Solutions

I recently encountered an issue with my Shelly Dimmer 2 where the device would overheat when controlling multiple LED spotlights. Initially, I was puzzled as to why the dimmer would shut off at 105°C, especially since the load seemed within acceptable limits. After some research and experimentation, I found that the problem was related to the dimming method and the number of lights connected.

Key Learnings:- Dimming Method: Switching from trailing edge to leading edge dimming significantly reduced the flickering and heat generation. Leading edge dimming proved to be more stable for my setup.- Load Management: I realized that connecting too many lights to a single dimmer could overload it. By distributing the load across multiple dimmers, I prevented overheating and ensured reliable operation.- Firmware Update: Updating the Shelly Dimmer 2 to the latest firmware (1.8.5) also made a difference, improving overall performance and stability.

**Tips for Others:**1. Always check the firmware version and update if necessary.2. Experiment with different dimming methods to find the one that works best for your setup.3. Avoid overloading the dimmer by spreading the load across multiple devices.
