Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with installing multiple Shelly EM devices. It’s been a bit of a journey, but I’ve learned some valuable lessons along the way!
So, I installed 5 Shelly EMs, each with a single loop. However, the app and website kept showing two devices for each one. One would read the power correctly, while the other would show 0 power. I reset the devices multiple times and deleted them from the app, but the issue persisted. Eventually, I named the second device ‘Void’ to avoid confusion. Now, the Control Center shows 10 devices instead of 5, which is a bit frustrating, but at least it’s manageable.
I want to hear from others who might have encountered similar issues. How did you resolve it? Did you find any workarounds or settings that helped? I’d love to learn from your experiences!
On a positive note, the Shelly EMs are fantastic for monitoring power usage, and having them set up has really helped me keep track of energy consumption in different parts of my home. It’s a small hassle, but the benefits definitely outweigh the inconvenience.
