Hey guys, i have a Shelly flood sensor and it is connected to my M3 hub but the automation doesnt work. It is just to send a push notification
Any ideas ?

Question: is that possible to add an zigbee devices like that Shelly one to the M3 hub?as from what I know zigbee devices from others brands can’t be added to aqara app using M3

If he’s referring to the Shelly Flood Gen4, then the sensor will likely be connected via Matter over Wi-Fi. Zigbee will most likely not work.

That funny thing is it is connected but cant trigger the automation to push the notification

Could you take a screenshot? Is there something preventing the push notification from coming through?

My question is why did you bought that bulky water leak sensor?as aqara water leak sensor is smaller and do not have cable for the leak sensor.

Good question. Shelly’s sensor is kind of funny: a flood sensor that you’re not supposed to get flooded because it’s only IP44-rated

There is actually some thoughts behind it! I want to monitor some pipes the cable makes it easy to wrap it around the pipes.

I just check on Amazon and is more expensive then aqara water leak that is bulky and have 2m cable to extend the detection still I do not see it very practically to have an cable around the floor witch you can’t hide like an wall cable.well each one chose what they like.i personally just bought 2 more Aqara water leak sensors to complete my guard as for some weird reason my bathroom needs 2/3 sensors

Yes, all of the cable is water sensor so if water hist ant part it will react

Ok than make sense.also why you do not make the automation from Apple home kit or what are you using as matter platform ?if aqara doesn’t give you options use the matter once because I just look on my aqara water leak sensor and only have 2 automations from to chose since this water leaks are directly added to the basic guard on aqara app.

Have you clicked Preview to see if the notification works?
What does the device show in the Accessories section of the Aqara Home app when you select it and the sensor has been flooded?
Wrapping it directly around the pipes would likely cause issues.

The sensor so detect water but the automation doesnt trigger.
How do i see the preview?
When you tap “Preview,” a notification should pop up. If you don’t receive a notification, it might be due to your smartphone’s settings.

Interesting update , when previewed i get an error message 7155 Push notification not supported what and why ? This makes no sense
