Shelly Motion Sensor Integration with Hue Lights

Hello everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation, and I’m thrilled to share my recent success in integrating a Shelly Motion sensor with my Hue lights. I’ve always been a fan of Philips Hue for their vibrant colors and reliable performance, but I wanted to enhance my setup with some motion-activated lighting.

Initially, I faced some challenges in getting the Shelly Motion to work seamlessly with my Hue setup. After some research and experimentation, I discovered that using a smart hub like Home Assistant made the integration much smoother. By setting up a simple automation rule, I was able to have my Hue lights automatically turn on when motion is detected and dim after a few minutes of inactivity.

This setup has been a game-changer for my outdoor lighting. It’s not only convenient but also energy-efficient, ensuring that my lights are only on when needed. I’d love to hear from others who have successfully integrated their Shelly sensors with Hue or other lighting systems—what tips or tricks have you found most helpful?

Thank you all for your insights and support! Let’s keep the smart home innovations flowing! :star2:
