Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart home devices and wanted to share some of my experiences and questions. First off, I recently purchased the Shelly Motion1, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my setup. The battery life has been impressive, just as described, and it’s been working seamlessly until recently.
Unfortunately, the device stopped functioning correctly yesterday. I decided to reset it and reconfigure it with my home network, but I’m running into some issues. After entering the network details and saving, it doesn’t seem to exit the AP mode, and the network connection checkbox remains unchecked. I’m wondering if anyone has encountered this and knows a workaround or solution.
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with Wyze cameras and their detection zones. I’ve tried adjusting the settings a few times, but the detection grid keeps appearing blank, which is quite frustrating. It’s making it harder to fully rely on the Wyze ecosystem for my security needs. If anyone has successfully resolved this issue, I’d love to hear your tips!
Lastly, I’ve been exploring how to integrate different smart devices and automate my home lighting. I’ve found that using motion sensors alongside light switches can create a seamless experience, but I’m still learning the ropes. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!
