Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience integrating a Shelly Plug S MTR Gen. 3 with a Blue Button 1. It wasn’t the smoothest process, but I managed to get it working! Here’s what I learned:
First, I set up the Shelly Plug using the Shelly app. It was straightforward, and the plug worked perfectly with my Zigbee network. But when it came to pairing the Blue Button, I ran into some issues. The button wasn’t showing up in the Shelly app, and my Fritzbox wasn’t detecting it either. Frustrating, right?
After some research, I discovered that the Blue Button needs a stable internet connection to pair properly. I tried resetting both devices and ensuring they were in range of my router. Finally, it connected! I set up a simple automation where pressing the button turns the Shelly Plug on or off. It’s such a neat way to control my devices without fumbling with the app.
