One of my simplest, yet most practical automations:
A presence sensor in the guest toilet automatically turns on the lights and ventilation. Simple.
But I also use that same sensor to set the LED ring on an M1S Gen 2 hub (plugged right into the socket outside the toilet) to red. That way, everyone instantly knows when the toilet is occupied without trying to open the locked door.
Easy and effective.
And always remember: When your car is smarter than your house… you’re driving into the future while living in the past.
