Hello everyone! I’m really excited to share my recent experience with the Routine Manager app and how it’s transformed my smart home setup. Routine Manager has been a game-changer for me, allowing me to create and manage complex automations with ease. Whether it’s setting up a bedtime routine or creating custom alerts, the app’s flexibility has been invaluable.
I wanted to share a quick tip that might help others who are looking to streamline their smart home systems. One feature I particularly love is the ability to create custom scenes that combine multiple devices. For example, I have a ‘Goodnight’ scene that turns off all lights, lowers the thermostat, and arms my security system with a single press. It’s incredibly convenient!
I also discovered the Rule Machine plugin, which has taken my automation to the next level. With RM, I can set up conditional actions based on various triggers, such as time of day or sensor readings. This has been especially useful for managing energy usage and creating eco-friendly routines.
