Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Wyze Battery Cam Pro. I recently installed one in my home, and I was pretty excited about its features. However, I noticed that the battery life wasn’t what I expected. Within just 24 hours, the battery dropped to 10%, which was a bit concerning. I was hoping to get closer to the 6-12 months of battery life that Wyze claims.
I started by checking the default settings and enabling power-saving mode, but it didn’t make a significant difference. I decided to dig deeper and tweak some additional settings. After some research, I found that adjusting the motion detection sensitivity and reducing the video quality settings helped conserve battery life without sacrificing too much functionality.
I also discovered that placing the camera in an area with less frequent motion activity helped extend the battery life. It’s a small adjustment, but it makes a big difference. I’d love to hear if anyone else has tips or tricks for optimizing battery life on their Wyze cameras.
Overall, I’m still impressed with the camera’s performance and features. It’s definitely a great value for the price, and with a little tweaking, it can meet the battery life expectations. I’m curious to see if future firmware updates will improve this aspect even further.
