Hey everyone! I’ve been trying to optimize my smart camera setup, and I wanted to share my experiences and ask for some advice. I have 8 cameras set up around my property, and I’ve been using the detection zones feature to reduce unnecessary notifications. However, it seems like the detection zones aren’t working as expected. For example, I’ve excluded our street from the detection zone, but I still get alerts every time a car passes by. Am I missing something here?
I’ve tried adjusting the zones multiple times, but the issue persists. If anyone has successfully implemented detection zones or has tips on how to fine-tune them, I’d really appreciate the help!
On a positive note, I’ve found that placing cameras at specific angles and ensuring they’re free from obstructions has significantly improved their performance. It’s also been helpful to review the camera settings regularly to make sure everything is up to date.
