Smart Camera Setup and Microphone Issue

Hi everyone, I recently set up my smart home with the SmartThings basic kit and I’m really enjoying the convenience it brings. One area I’m focusing on now is enhancing my home security with indoor and outdoor cameras. I came across some great recommendations for cameras in the UK, but I’m still trying to decide which ones would best suit my needs. I’m looking for something reliable with good video quality and easy integration with my existing setup.

While exploring the Echo Auto, I noticed an interesting feature—the built-in microphone. I thought it would be perfect for making calls while driving, especially since my in-car microphone stopped working. However, I’m a bit disappointed because the Echo doesn’t use its own microphone for calls; it still routes through the faulty in-car mic. I’m wondering if there’s a way to set the Echo’s microphone as the default for calls. Any advice would be appreciated!

Another thing I’m curious about is conditional notifications for my Wyze Sense sensors. It would be fantastic if I could create multi-conditional actions, like sending a notification if a contact sensor is open for more than X minutes and there’s no motion detected. I hope this feature gets added natively in the future.

Overall, I’m really enjoying the journey of setting up my smart home, but there are always a few hiccups along the way. I’m excited to see how the community can help me overcome these challenges and make my home even smarter!
