Hi all, just wanted to share a fun project I’ve been working on!
I’ve set up an automated coffee machine using a smart switch and power monitoring. It’s been a lifesaver—now my morning espresso is ready right when I wake up!
The automation uses both schedule-based and wattage-based detection, which has been super reliable. I’ve also added notifications to keep track of when the machine is ready and when it turns off. It’s been a game-changer for my morning routine! ![]()
On another note, I recently upgraded my boiler and ran into an issue with my Tado system. The receiver wasn’t communicating properly after the change, which was pretty frustrating. After some troubleshooting, I realized the wiring needed adjustment. I ended up reconfiguring the connections, and now everything works smoothly again!
It was a bit of a learning curve, but it’s great to have it back up and running. Hopefully, this helps anyone else who might be going through a similar situation. ![]()
If anyone has tips or tricks for optimizing smart coffee setups or Tado integrations, I’d love to hear them! Let’s keep the ideas flowing! ![]()
