I recently installed four GE 12727 Z-Wave ceiling fans and am now looking to automate their on/off functionality. While I’m not interested in speed control—since all our fans stay on medium 99% of the time—I’d love to have them turn on automatically when the temperature reaches 75°F or higher and when someone is home. Conversely, I want the fans to turn off when the house is in away mode and then back on again when the mode changes to home, provided the temperature is still 75°F or higher. I’ve explored virtual thermostats but haven’t found one that fits my needs. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations for achieving this automation? I’d greatly appreciate any help or suggestions!
