Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into home automation and I’m really excited about the possibilities. I’ve set up a smart garage door system using a Shelly 1, but I’m running into a bit of a snag. The garage door controller I have doesn’t manage the lights directly, so I need to bridge the Open and Close signals to the Shelly 1 to control the lights. I think this might require using the Shelly as a momentary switch, but I’m not entirely sure how to wire it up properly. Should I use a single Shelly 1 or would a Shelly 2.5 be better suited for this? I’ve included a schematic of the controller, but I’m not entirely confident about the wiring configuration. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated! I’m really looking forward to getting this sorted out and seeing the lights turn on automatically when the door opens and off when it closes. Thanks in advance for your help!
