Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to tackle a persistent deer problem in my front yard garden. The local regulations limit my fence height to 4 feet, which unfortunately hasn’t been much of a deterrent. I stumbled upon the idea of using a Wyze Cam to detect deer and trigger an automated response, like turning on a sprinkler or making a scarecrow pop up.
I’ve set up the Wyze Cam in a strategic spot and integrated it with my smart home system. The goal is to create a system that’s both effective and non-invasive. I’ve read some great tips online about motion sensors and automated responses, but I’m still tweaking the settings to ensure it’s reliable.
Has anyone here had experience with similar setups? I’d love to hear about your successes or challenges. What kind of automated responses have worked best for you? Maybe a combination of lights, sprinklers, or even sound deterrents?
