Hello everyone, I’m looking for some advice on how to manage the heating in my kids’ rooms more efficiently. I have a smart thermostat system, and I’d like to set it up so that the heating only comes on at certain times. For example, I want the heating to activate at night when the kids are asleep but not during the day when they’re not in the room. This would not only save energy but also ensure the rooms are comfortable when needed.
I’ve heard about using time blocks to control heating zones, but I’m not entirely sure how to implement this. Is there a way to schedule the zone controller to deactivate during specific hours? I’d still want the rooms to get heat if another room in the house calls for it, so it’s not a complete shutdown.
If anyone has experience with this or knows of a good setup, I’d love to hear your suggestions. Maybe there’s a feature I haven’t discovered yet or a workaround that could make this happen. Thanks in advance for your help!
