First, I recently set up an automation in my bedroom to turn on a fan when the temperature reaches 22.5°C. However, I noticed that the fan wasn’t triggering as expected. After some troubleshooting, I realized it was a configuration issue with the sensor. It’s been a great learning experience, and I’d love to hear how others handle similar automations!
Speaking of sensors, I’ve been eyeing some motion and door sensors for better security around my home. I’ve heard great things about the Fibaro and Aqara sensors, but I’m curious about others’ recommendations. If anyone has a favorite Zigbee or Z-Wave sensor they swear by, I’d love to know!
Another topic I’d like to touch on is the integration of different devices. I’ve recently added a Wyze camera to my setup, but I’m struggling with push notifications. It works perfectly for my main account, but not for my parents’ setup. Has anyone faced similar issues when using separate accounts? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
On a lighter note, I’ve been experimenting with color matching between my smart bulbs and LED strips. It’s amazing how a cohesive color scheme can transform a space. If anyone has tips on achieving consistent colors, I’d love to hear them!
