I recently set up my Bose Soundbar 900 with my LG TV, and I must say, the integration has taken my home entertainment to the next level! 
However, I encountered a small hiccup that I thought I’d share and see if anyone else has faced similar challenges or has a better solution.
The issue is with switching the audio source automatically when I switch between the TV and Spotify. When I play music via Spotify through the Soundbar, it automatically switches to the ‘Alexa’ source, which is handy. But when I want to switch back to the TV audio, I have to manually change the source either through the Bose app or by using an Alexa voice command. This got me thinking—why not automate this process?
I tried creating a rule in Home Assistant where turning on the TV would automatically switch the Soundbar source to ‘TV’. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a direct command or attribute in Home Assistant to change the source. I also attempted using an Alexa routine, but it didn’t work as expected. 
Has anyone successfully automated their Bose Soundbar to switch sources based on TV activity? Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated! I’m excited to see how others have tackled this and maybe even learn some new automation tricks along the way.
