I’ve been on a journey to create a seamless smart home experience, and I’m thrilled to share my progress with you all. 
Starting with Zigbee devices, I’ve successfully integrated my Ziggo Media Box Next Mini and a few Aeotec door sensors. The setup wasn’t without its challenges—especially getting the Ziggo box to power on from standby without the remote. After some research, I discovered that Wake On LAN wasn’t the solution, but a custom component might be the way to go. I’m now diving into creating my own, which is both exciting and a bit daunting!
Another highlight has been experimenting with NFC tags to automate my Govee lights. It’s incredible how a simple tap on my iPhone can trigger predefined scenes, like setting the mood for a cozy evening or brightening up the room for a productive day. This integration has definitely added a touch of magic to my daily routine.
