I’ve been on a journey to automate my home for the past few months, and I’m thrilled to share my experience!

My thermostat also adjusts based on my schedule, ensuring the house is warm when I wake up and slightly cooler when I’m away. These small touches have made my home feel more connected and personalized.
I also integrated my Ring doorbell with my smart lights. Now, whenever someone rings the bell, the porch lights automatically turn on, and I receive a notification on my phone. This integration has added an extra layer of security and convenience.
One challenge I faced was getting all devices to work seamlessly together. I discovered that using a consistent ecosystem like Google Home helped bridge the gap between different brands. It was a learning curve, but with some research and experimentation, everything started to fall into place.
A fun project I recently completed was setting up a motion-activated fan in my backyard.
