I wanted to share my recent success with setting up my smart home automation, which has made my life so much easier! 
A few weeks ago, I decided to integrate my Google TV with my SmartThings system. Initially, I faced some challenges, especially with getting the Google TV to recognize notifications properly. The Echo Show 5 was only giving partial alerts, which was frustrating. However, after some research and tweaking, I managed to get everything working seamlessly! 
For those interested, here’s a quick tip: Make sure your Google TV is correctly paired with your SmartThings hub and that all necessary apps are updated. If you’re using an Echo Show, ensure that notifications are enabled in the Alexa app settings. It’s all about those small tweaks that make a big difference! 
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with setting up a more reliable security system. I recently installed an EcoLink door sensor and paired it with a siren. The goal was to have the siren trigger when the door is opened while the system is armed. After some trial and error, I found that using a combination of geofencing and manual overrides works perfectly. It’s comforting to know that my setup is both secure and user-friendly, especially when I’m away on trips.
