I’ve been on a journey to create a truly seamless smart home, and I’m thrilled to share some of my experiences and tips with you all! 
One of the biggest challenges I faced was integrating devices from multiple brands into a cohesive system. For instance, I recently added a De’Longhi air conditioner and wanted it to work seamlessly with my existing smart home setup. After some research, I discovered that using a MQTT bridge was the key to connecting everything without needing to pull the plug every time! 
Another success story is how I set up my Wyze cameras to work with IFTTT. I wanted my motion sensors to activate based on when the last family member leaves the house, rather than just a set schedule. Turns out, combining IFTTT with the Wyze app’s scheduler made this a breeze!
