I wanted to share my recent success with integrating multiple sensors into my smart home setup using an ESP32 module. After some research and experimentation, I managed to connect 14 pulse counters, including gas, water, and electricity meters, all in my utility closet. While I initially thought there might be limitations with the ESP32’s capabilities, it turned out to be more than capable for handling all these sensors simultaneously. This setup has greatly improved my ability to monitor and manage my home’s energy consumption. I’d love to hear if anyone else has similar experiences or tips for optimizing such setups.
