After months of planning and setup, I’m thrilled to share my journey in creating a seamless smart home ecosystem! 
My goal was to integrate both Z-Wave and Bluetooth devices to maximize functionality and convenience. Here’s how it all came together:
The Challenge
Initially, I faced some hurdles, especially with getting my Govee H61A0 light strips to connect via Bluetooth. Despite being on the 2.4 GHz band, they wouldn’t show up in the device list. After contacting support and trying a replacement, the issue persisted. It was frustrating, but I knew I wasn’t alone in this struggle.
The Solution
After some research and community support, I discovered that resetting the devices and ensuring they were in pairing mode during setup made a huge difference. Now, my Bluetooth devices work flawlessly alongside my Z-Wave network!
The Outcome
This integration has transformed my daily life. From automatically turning on my bathroom lights when I step in to scheduling my outdoor lights to come on at sunset, everything flows smoothly. The added bonus? My energy consumption has decreased thanks to smart scheduling!
