Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into creating a smart home automation system, and I wanted to share my journey with you all. My goal is to set up a system where my smart blinds automatically close when it rains or when the wind speed exceeds a certain threshold. After some research, I’ve managed to set up two separate automations: one that triggers when it rains and another when the wind speed goes above 20 km/h. However, I’m running into an issue with the 20-minute delay feature. I’ve tried adding the delay after the action, but it doesn’t seem to work as intended. Instead of waiting 20 minutes before checking the conditions again, it seems to trigger immediately. I’m using a threshold of 10 for testing purposes, but even that isn’t resolving the issue. Does anyone have any insights or suggestions on what I might be doing wrong? I’m really excited to get this working smoothly, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
