Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart home devices and wanted to share some of my experiences and tips for getting everything connected smoothly. 
One of the first challenges I faced was getting my Nest Thermostat to connect with a Heat Link device. After some troubleshooting—checking breakers, resetting both devices, and verifying power—I realized the issue was with the connectivity settings. A simple factory reset on both devices and ensuring they were on the same network did the trick! 
Another hurdle was setting up presence sensors to reliably detect family members. I found that moving the hub closer to the entry points helped, but there was still a slight delay. To mitigate this, I adjusted the polling interval and paired the sensors with door sensors, which extended the range even when running on batteries.
