Automating the Soda Machine
One of my favorite projects has been integrating my soda machine into my Hubitat ecosystem. Thanks to the Zooz ZEN16 relays, I was able to automate the vending process. The key was setting the soda machine to free-vend mode, which simplified everything. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out—now I can enjoy a cold drink with just a voice command!
Zigbee and BLE Innovations
I’ve also been experimenting with a heat-powered Zigbee and BLE device. It’s been a fascinating project, combining thermal energy with wireless communication. The device can control everything from a gas stove to a fireplace, and it’s been a great way to explore energy harvesting possibilities. I’d love to hear if anyone else is working on similar projects!
Enhancing the Smart Home Experience
Another area I’ve been focusing on is improving my smart home’s functionality through better organization. I’ve found that using tags effectively can really streamline how I interact with my devices. It’s a small change, but it makes a big difference in usability.
