One project I’m particularly proud of is creating a system to monitor my washing machine’s status. Using a smart plug with power measurement, I can now receive notifications when my laundry is done. While it took some trial and error, it’s been a rewarding experience to see how technology can make everyday tasks more efficient. Lessons Learned Through these projects, I’ve learned the importance of thorough research and patience. For example, when setting up my Zigbee lights, I initially struggled with dimming and color control. After some troubleshooting, I realized that the issue was with the firmware on the bulbs. Updating them solved the problem, and now they work perfectly with my Home Assistant setup.
