Installing a Homematic system in our newly renovated apartment has been an exciting journey! The heating system, in particular, has been a fascinating project. With a multifamily house setup, the heating water comes in at 55-60°C, and we have underfloor heating in all rooms, plus additional radiators in the bathrooms. Replacing the manual controls with an electric motor for the underfloor heating was a great move, and integrating it with Homematic has been seamless.
Currently, I’ve disabled individual room controls, and the system maintains a comfortable temperature with minimal fluctuations. The outdoor temperature-dependent regulation is the next step, and I’m eager to implement a formula-based system. I’ve started learning to script, but it’s still a bit challenging. If anyone has experience or tips on creating such a script, I’d be grateful!
The system’s hydraulic balance is excellent, and the controls are responsive. The heating in the bathrooms is handled by the additional radiators, which ensure the right warmth during peak times. The bedroom is set to a cooler temperature since we prefer a chillier environment for sleeping. Overall, the system is running smoothly, and I’m looking forward to refining it further. Thanks for any insights or advice you can share!
