Hi everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart home lighting and camera integration, and I wanted to share some of my experiences and tips with you. 
First off, I recently switched to Govee LED strips for my home, and I’m absolutely loving them! They’re perfect for creating different ambiance settings, and the app integration is seamless. If you’re thinking about upgrading your lighting, I highly recommend checking them out. 
On the camera front, I’ve been working on setting up my Amcrest ZenCam. It was a bit tricky at first, especially with the RTSP configuration, but I managed to get it integrated with Home Assistant. One thing I noticed is the importance of a stable network connection to avoid those pesky disconnections. If you’re having issues, double-check your router settings and ensure there’s no interference. 
I also wanted to touch on the topic of camera placement. I’ve been experimenting with mounting two cameras side by side on a floodlight, pointing in opposite directions. It’s a great way to cover more area, but as I’m still figuring out the best mounting solutions, I’d love to hear if anyone has tips or tricks for this setup. 
Another thing I’ve been exploring is the use of open-source tools like Node-RED for automating my home systems. It’s incredibly powerful but can be a bit overwhelming for newcomers. If you’re just starting out, I’d suggest taking it one step at a time and referring to the community forums for guidance.
Lastly, I wanted to mention the importance of regular firmware updates. I recently updated several devices, and it made a world of difference in terms of performance and reliability. Don’t forget to check your devices’ firmware tabs regularly!
