Hey everyone! I’m super excited to share my latest smart home project with you. I’ve been working on creating a music light show using my Shelly devices and Govee glide lights, and it’s finally ready! 
I wanted to combine my love for music and home automation, so I decided to create a dynamic light show that syncs with my favorite tracks. I used the Shelly 1 mini to control the lights and set up a simple automation using the Govee app. The result? A stunning visual experience that matches the rhythm of the music! 
Here’s how I did it:
- Setup: I connected my Shelly 1 mini to the Govee glide lights and set up the automation in the Govee app. It was surprisingly straightforward!
- Automation: I programmed the lights to change colors and brightness based on the music’s beat. The app has some great preset modes, but I also created a custom script to make it even more dynamic.
- Testing: I tested it with a few different songs to make sure it worked seamlessly. The lights really bring the music to life!
I’m really happy with how it turned out. It’s a great way to enhance my music listening experience and add some ambiance to my home. If anyone has tips or suggestions for improving it further, I’d love to hear them!
