Pairing it with the Phoscon app was a bit tricky at first, but after some research and a little trial and error, it connected seamlessly. The satisfaction of seeing real-time data on my phone was immense! A Little Challenge: Speaking of challenges, I recently encountered an issue with my Tuya soil tester. Initially, it didn’t pair with the Phoscon app, which was a bit frustrating. However, after logging into the system via VNC, I noticed the device was connected in DECONZ. It turned out to be a simple matter of adjusting some settings. This experience taught me the importance of patience and thorough research when troubleshooting. Yeelight Lights and Bluetooth Mesh: Another highlight of my setup has been the Yeelight lights. The announcement of HomeKit support for their products was music to my ears. I’ve integrated their Bluetooth mesh gateway, and it’s been a breeze to control multiple lights with just a rotation of the Yeelight Candela. The responsiveness and ease of use have been impeccable. Shelly Devices: I’ve also been experimenting with Shelly devices. Their flood sensor and dimmer have added a layer of convenience and security to my home. The ability to control these devices via the Shelly app or through voice commands has been a delightful addition. Tips for Newbies: If you’re just starting out, here are a few tips I’ve picked up along the way: 1. Plan Ahead: Sketch out your smart home layout and decide which devices you want to prioritize. 2. Read Reviews: Before purchasing, read through user reviews and forums to understand potential issues. 3.
