Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my recent smart home journey! 
It’s been an incredible experience integrating various devices to create a seamless and automated living space. I’ve been using Vera3 alongside Foscam cameras and Network Attached Storage (NAS), and I’m thrilled with how everything works together. 
One of the highlights has been setting up motion-triggered video capture directly to my NAS. While I initially thought I’d need a subscription service, I was thrilled to find a workaround that allows me to save videos locally. It’s been a game-changer for monitoring my home without relying on external storage. 
I’ve also been experimenting with Hubitat, and I must say, it’s been a breeze to set up notifications. Even though there was a hiccup with my new Android phone, I managed to troubleshoot it by checking settings and logs. Now, everything runs smoothly, and I get timely alerts for any activity. 
What’s been most rewarding is how smart lighting has transformed my evenings. Using Govee lights, I’ve created a cozy ambiance that feels like a movie set. Whether it’s a warm glow for a romantic dinner or vibrant colors for a lively game night, the flexibility is amazing!
