Wow! This setup just saved me a lot of money and potential heartache! My NEW water heater sprang a leak, and my Wyze Leak Sensor Probe detected the issue before it could cause a flooded basement. 
The water heater sits inside a water pan with an overflow tube running to a floor drain. However, the water pan itself had a leak!fortunately, I had a Leak Sensor Probe clipped inside the water pan, so it caught the pending disaster early. THANK YOU WYZE! 
I have a siren, wired to a 12V adapter, plugged into a Wyze Plug. I created Rules where my Leak sensors trigger a Wyze Plug activating the siren, and it worked perfectly! The siren was so loud it scared the bejeezus out of me! 
This experience has been a great reminder of how important it is to have reliable smart home devices monitoring critical areas. It also highlighted the importance of setting up clear alerts and automations to ensure that potential issues are caught early.
