Winter is here, and there’s no better time to enjoy the convenience of smart home technology! I recently set up my Govee smart heater, and it’s been a lifesaver. The ability to control the temperature remotely has made those cold mornings so much easier. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to stay warm this season. Speaking of staying warm, I also wanted to share a quick tip for anyone dealing with smart thermostats. I noticed that one of my wall thermostats kept showing the moon/sun icon even though I had the weekly program set. After some research, I realized it was a display setting. If you’re experiencing something similar, try checking the display options in the thermostat settings—it might have a ‘Comfort/Eco Display’ toggle that needs adjusting. On a lighter note, I also upgraded my outdoor security setup with a Wyze Cam Pan. It’s been a breeze to install, and the live view feature works perfectly from my phone. Just a heads-up though—if you’re having trouble connecting the camera to your network, make sure to reset it and try pairing it again. Sometimes a fresh start does the trick! Overall, smart home devices are making winter a lot more enjoyable. From controlling the heat to keeping an eye on the house, it’s hard to imagine life without them.
